Rollover crash in Batavia involves three vehicles

BATAVIA – Three people were injured in a traffic crash involving three vehicles about 2:40 p.m. June 18 near North Randall Road and West Wilson Street in Batavia, according to a Batavia Police Department news release.

One vehicle rolled over after going off the roadway, and the driver, who had to be extricated, was airlifted by helicopter to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove as a precaution because of the amount of time needed to be freed from the vehicle, the release stated. The other two injured persons were taken by ambulance to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva, according to the release, which noted that none of the injuries to the three appeared to be life-threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
