Randy Johnson headlines Cougars event

'Out to the Ballgame' set on June 28

GENEVA – The Kane County Cougars have announced that legendary pitcher and Hall of Famer Randy Johnson will headline the “Out to the Ballgame IV” event at 4:30 p.m. June 28 at Northwestern Medicine Field, a news release stated. Tickets are $75 and available by calling the Cougars front office at 630-232-8811 or by ordering online at milb.com.

Guests will be guaranteed a Randy Johnson bobblehead, a question-and-answer program featuring Cougars owner Bob Froehlich and the MLB Hall of Famer, along with a buffet dinner and Super Suite ticket for the Cougars game that night. The event, in the upper-deck level of Northwestern Medicine Field, will begin at 4 p.m. when the doors open.

Guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet during the question-and-answer session. A cash bar will also be available.

After the event, the Cougars will take the field to face the Quad Cities River Bandits at 6:30 p.m. After the game, fans will be treated to a postgame fireworks show set to a 1980s playlist.
