Batavia resident Lori Holm, 48, was at The Olive Mill in Geneva when she answered questions for the Kane County Chronicle's Brenda Schory.

Schory: Where did you grow up?
Holm:
Batavia born and raised. I bleed crimson and gold. My husband, Matt Holm, was head coach of the Batavia High School baseball team.

Schory: Do you have any pets?
Holm:
An Australian cattle dog-mix named Frank Burns

Schory: Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Holm:
Mary McDonnell

Schory: First job?
Holm:
Delivering newspapers

Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Holm:
An actor, and yes, I became that. I act, direct and produce at Steel Beam Theatre in St. Charles and Janus Theatre in Elgin.

Holm:
“Dandelion Wine” by Ray Bradbury
