Batavia police reports

Criminal charges filed

• A theft valued at more than $500 was reported May 31 in the 200 block of Stone Manor Circle, Batavia.

• Items delivered to a porch in the 0-99 block of Mayflower Drive, Batavia, were reported stolen June 1, including a $400 scanner for a machine and six boxes of solar panels valued at $800.

• The broken glass of a car's driver's side mirror was reported as criminal damage to property June 1 in the 800 block of North Randall Road, Batavia, amounting to an estimated $400 in damage.

• Edward Thurber Hall III, 25, of the 0-99 block of South Calumet Avenue, Aurora, was charged June 1 with domestic battery and criminal damage to property valued at less than $500 in the 500 block of North Randall Road, Batavia, according to a police report.

• Medication valued at less than $500 reportedly was stolen June 1 in the 200 block of North Island Avenue, Batavia, according to a June 2 police report.

• Motor vehicle parts were reported stolen June 3 from an SUV in the 1800 block of East Fabyan Parkway, Batavia, including four tires and rims valued at about $1,200.

• An Illinois Department of Transportation safety inspection sticker valued at about $300 was reported stolen June 4 from the side of a truck at Byus Steel, 1750 Hubbard Ave., Batavia.

• Shaun McGovern, 32, of the 2800 block of Davenport Drive, West Chicago, was charged June 4 with disorderly conduct and assault in the 100 block of Houston Street, Batavia, according to a police report.

• Retail thefts were reported June 5 at both Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, and Speedway, 1495 E. Wilson St., both in Batavia.
