BATAVIA – Children of all ages are invited to join the games at Beach Ball Bonanza from 12:30 to 4 p.m. July 19 at Hall Quarry Beach in Batavia.
The competitions offer prizes, according to a Batavia Park District news release. The first 100 people who enter Hall Quarry Beach will receive a free beach ball.
Beach ball games will be played during resting periods and will include relay races, beach ball volleyball, a Bozo bucket game and other challenges. There will be an activity for participants to decorate their own beach ball with markers and stickers. The event will include a photo booth for people to take pictures with their friends.
Beach Ball Bonanza is included in the daily admission rates, which are $8 for residents and $11 for nonresidents. Individuals also can enter using their Quarry season passes. Patrons can pick up a buy-one-get-one-free daily admission voucher to the Quarry at either the Batavia Civic Center or Eastside Community Center. Hall Quarry Beach is located at 400 S. Water St.
