Geneva resident Brian Noonan, 56, was at the Classic Car Show in Geneva with his daughter, Cailin, and dog, Tinker, when he answered questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Schory: Where did you grow up?

Noonan: Naperville

Schory: Do you have any pets?

Noonan: A rescue Chihuahua-terrier mix named Tinker, four hermit crabs named Buttercup, Energy, Military and Bumblebee, a gerbil named Licorice, two rabbits named Carmel and Dutchess, three cats named Karma, Buddha and Zoe, and three beta fish named Rose, Angel and Marshmallow

Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Noonan: A policeman. I became a salesman.

Schory: Book or movie you would recommend?

Noonan: “American Graffiti”

Schory: Favorite charity?

Noonan: Wounded Warrior Project

Schory: Favorite local restaurant?

Noonan: Aurelio’s in Geneva

Schory: What is an interesting fact about yourself?

Noonan: I have made 2,600 jumps as a sky diver. I was a sky diver in the Army and also did sport parachute jumps and I was on the U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights. I am also taking over as commander of American Legion Post 75 in Geneva.
