Batavia police reports

• A theft of more than $500 was reported July 18 at a business in the 100 block of South Batavia Avenue, Batavia.

• Jeffrey S. Henderson, 47, of the 2500 block of Walnut Street, Geneva, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding in the 700 block of Route 31, Batavia, according to a July 18 police report.

• Harassment by electronic communication was reported July 18 at a business in the 1200 block of North Raddant Road, Batavia.

• A wallet later found in a neighbor's yard was reported stolen July 21 from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Hadley Drive, Batavia.

• A vehicle in the 1600 block of Kennedy Drive, Batavia, was reported stolen July 21, along with contents including a computer, purse, wallet and credit cards.

• A vehicle in the 1600 block of Richter Drive, Batavia, was reported stolen July 21, along with contents including a box of T-shirts valued at $400.

• Tools were stolen but recovered, according to a July 21 report of retail theft at Menards, 300 N. Randall Road, Batavia.

• Burglary to a motor vehicle was reported July 21 in the 1500 block of Hadley Drive, Batavia, in which items were thrown about the vehicle and loose change was taken.

• Michael J. Byrd, 30, of the 200 block of Meadow Drive, Batavia, was charged July 22 with driving a lawn tractor under the influence of alcohol, along with driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent in the 600 block of Pine Street, Batavia.

• The theft of $24,256.89 from a 39-year-old Batavia man's bank savings account over numerous transactions was reported as fraud July 23.

• Tammy A. Stanley, 54, of the 1100 block of Lauren Drive, Sandwich, was charged July 23 with possession of a controlled substance and driving without a valid license in the 600 block of Madison Street, Batavia, according to a police report.

• Unauthorized charges were reported as fraud July 24 in the 1200 block of East Wilson Street, Batavia.
