Callahan homers twice in 12-5 Knights' win
MAPLE PARK — Kaneland's bats were streaky Saturday and the Knights' offense surged at the right time to cap a 12-5 home win over DeKalb. The Knights' Lauren Callahan took full advantage of a change in the lineup in the win.
Callahan, playing at catcher in place of Lily Lindgren — Lindgren was taking the ACT — smacked two home runs, one in the second inning for a 2-0 Kaneland lead. The other came in the sixth to cap the Knights' scoring.
