The 2019 St. Charles Jazz Weekend is Sept. 12-15.

The St. Charles Business Alliance is excited to announce that the St. Charles Jazz Weekend is set to host live Jazz music Sept. 12-15. There are 36 different performances set between 17 different venues for brunch, dinner, and late-night entertainment.

This year’s downtown venues include: Eden on the River, The Wine Exchange, Francesca’s on the River, ROX City Grill, Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, The Filling Station Pub & Grill, The House Pub, La Mesa Modern Mexican, McNally’s Traditional Irish Pub, 1st Street Plaza, Vintage 53, Club Arcada, Mt. St. Mary’s Park and The Office Dining & Spirits.

The venues will host many performances from jazz soloists to quintets that cover a range of jazz styles. Three-time Grammy Award winning Saxophonist Frank Catalano will headline at The Filling Station Pub & Grill on Thursday evening, on the First Street Plaza on Saturday afternoon and at The House Pub on Friday and Saturday evenings.

There will also be participation from local jazz ensembles such as St. Charles East & North High School with special guest Victor Garcia, John Wojciechoswki, the NIU Jazz Ensemble, the DePaul University Jazz Ensemble and more! Just a short drive out of downtown venues include: Spotted Fox Ale House, Baltria Vintage Auto Gallery and Harvest Restaurant at Pheasant Run.

Most performances are free of charge, but some venues may charge a small cover fee. Jazz Weekend is made possible thanks to the Presenting Sponsor Sterling Bank.
