ST. CHARLES TOWNSHIP – A former Carpentersville District 300 employee who lives in Geneva pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two minors she knew, the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office announced in a news release.

Lindsay P. Anderson, 31, of the 900 block of Foxwood Drive, Geneva, pleaded guilty Sept. 13 to the offenses of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse, both felonies.

Kane County Circuit Judge D.J. Tegeler accepted the plea and set Anderson’s next court appearance for Dec. 6 for sentencing.

Anderson faces a sentence of four to 22 years in prison, the release stated.

In addition, Anderson would have to register for life as a sexual offender in accordance with the Illinois Sexual Offender Registration Act.

Anderson remains free on $10,000 bond, the release stated.

Kane County Assistant State’s Attorney Lori Schmidt said during the plea hearing Sept. 13 that between July 2013 and May 2015, Anderson sexually assaulted the two victims, who were younger than 18 years old at the time, the release stated.

Anderson was charged in May 2015, according to a release at the time.

Anderson at the time was employed at Carpentersville Middle School and worked as a coach at Dundee-Crown High School. Anderson took advantage of her prior relationship with the victims as their teacher, but she was not their teacher when the crimes took place, the release stated.
