Volunteers needed to help St. Charles North students pack meals for those in need

ST. CHARLES – Student organizers from St. Charles North High School are seeking volunteers to help pack meals during Make a Difference in St. Charles, a Feed My Starving Children Mobile Packing Event.

The event from will take place from 1 pm. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Feed My Starving Children building located at 555 Exchange Court in Aurora.

Students are working to reach their goal of raising $10,000 that will enable them to pack 41,665 meals on the day of the event. Much of the funding has come from the generosity of St. Charles businesses and community members.

Feed My Starving Children is a nonprofit organization founded in 1987 that tackles world hunger by sending volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to 70 countries. The organization also operates orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty.
