Newspaper In Education
The Kane County Chronicle newspaper’s NIE program provides a “Living Textbook” to our schools. The newspaper that you read each day is a powerful teaching tool. This “living textbook” is as fresh as each day’s news. Newspaper In Education (NIE) is a unique partnership among classrooms, community sponsors and publication Newspapers. Schools throughout the Kane County Chronicle delivery area receive the newspaper daily FREE of charge because of generous community support.

The NIE program also provides teachers with curriculum ideas. The NIE program is supported by individual and business sponsorships. For more information on sponsorship opportunities or newspaper delivery for your classroom, please call Patty Smoll at (815) 526-4408.
