WHEATON – Tickets are on sale now for a special performance by acclaimed magician and artist Jeanette Andrews at 7 p.m. June 29 in the Robert R. McCormick House at Cantigny Park.
A sensory illusionist, Andrews will present “Thresholds,” an evening of what are described as impossible visions, scents, tastes, feelings and sounds. Immersive and interactive, the show takes audience members on a physical journey, experiencing elegant magic designed for the five senses in five distinct environments throughout the historic house museum.
Andrews appeared at Cantigny for the first time in 2018 before a sold-out audience. This year’s performance, limited to 40 guests, goes beyond a single room with Andrews serving as a magical guide through landscapes specifically designed to awaken the mind and the senses to a state that inspires revelation and wonder.
Tickets are available online at Cantigny.org for $50, $45 for Cantigny Park members, parking included. “Thresholds” is a 90-minute show intended for people age 18 and older.
Based in Chicago, Andrews uses scientific oddities and sensory anomalies to bridge everyday life to a special, heightened world. To learn more about her, visit www.jeanette-andrews.com/home.
